While doing the first set last summer, I realized that there were more than 15 influential books, and so the first set was my fiction list, which is what I read outside of the Bible for most of the first 20 or so yrs of my life. Today, I read mostly nonfiction and these are the 15 most influential books of non fiction, but I still could come up with a lot more!
1) The BIBLE
2) What Your Doctor May NOT Tell You About Premenopause (and his other books) ~~ Dr. John Lee, M.D.
3) Graduation to Glory~~ by Fern Hill (biography by mother of a young Christian boy who died at age 13, and the testimony to the life he lived and influence on others even after his death)
4) The Gift: The 12 Greatest Tools of Personal Growth and How to Put them Into Practice~~by Shad Helmstetter (motivational)
5) Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats~~By Sally Fallon and Mary Enig (compilation of so many great health books/cookbooks)
6) Love and Respect~~Dr. Emerson Eggerichs (great marriage book)
7) Square Foot Gardening~~by Mel Bartholomew
8) Joel Salatin's farming books
9) None Dare Call it Education~~ by John a. Stormer
10) Is There Life After Housework?~~ by Don Aslett (first one to help me learn to let go of stuff)
11) Total Money Makeover~~by Dave Ramsey
12) Sink Reflections ~~by Marla Cilley-- FLYLady
13) Better Late Than Early and other homeschool books by the pioneers Dr. Raymond Moore and wife Dorothy
14) The Way Home~~ by Mary Pride
15) Hidden for Glory--Destined for Adoption~~by SuDawn Peters (written by my friend now in NWArk)
16) Gianna: Aborted. . . and Lived to Tell About It~~by Jessica Shaver

There are a lot on this list that I haven't read. I may need to add to my library list this week!
